Rate-cap analysis
At $0.49 per minute, a 36-minute trip accumulates to $17.64. Because Evo automatically caps your hourly charge at $17.99, driving for 37 minutes costs practically the same as driving for a full 60 minutes. Once you cross 36 minutes, your remaining time in that hour is essentially unlocked.
While individual hours cost $17.99, the absolute daily maximum is capped at $104.99. You mathematically reach this ceiling at the 5-hour and 31-minute mark. Consequently, keeping an Evo for 6 hours costs the exact same penny as keeping it for a full 24 hours.
